Unfortunately my Valentine's Day was being sick in bed. So sad. But everyday is Valentine's Day with my hubby. Sounds corny- maybe. But we do our best to make everyday special.
ReplyDeleteWe took the girls to Chick-fil-a for family night, not original or romantic, but cheap!
ReplyDeleteHi Barb! We spent valentine's day from urgent care to urgent care with our son Nathan! He broke his rotator on his elbow and to think I had dinner ready and pages scrapbooked ready for pictures - not a glamorous day but you know what? we were all together! xoxox
ReplyDeleteWe celebrated Valentine's Day a day early this year. Good thing we did, since V-day itself ended up not being a very good day between an ER visit for my hubs and an unrelated death in the family. Very stressful!
ReplyDeleteMy sweet hubby and I went to famous dave's and shared this ginormous feast of BBQ! It was nice having the evening together, even if it was low key
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend of two years and I didn't go out or exchange gifts but only because the week before he surprised me by buying me a truck...Aww...Is it no wonder I love that man!!
ReplyDeleteWe don't do a whole lot for Valentine's Day. Now that we're parents, we focus more on the kiddo for these little holidays. A few little gifts for her after the hubs got home from work. Seeing her excitement over a couple of heart shaped wash cloths, a coloring book and a pink stuffed owl was enough for us! <3
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to checking out the new catalog!
