Oh man, favorite Holiday Tradition...there are SO many good ones. BUT, I have to say that the best tradition joined our family 4 years ago. My secret sister (Cindy) gave me the best gift ever (though I didn't know it at the time!) I was given a box with an elf in it and a book. I thought "What the hell is this?" Little did I know that this "Elf", who affectionately became known as "Spike", would become a part of our family, and would be my best friend and "tool" at times! Each year, our "Elf on the Shelf" joins us on Thanksgiving morning, straight from the North Pole, with a letter from Santa and a small gift for each of my three little angels. Each morning, the light in their eyes as they run through the house looking for Spike is priceless!!! This tradition will forever warm my heart.
ReplyDeleteGuess who!!! lol. I just posted about your amazing blog and contest on my personal facebook page, as well as my Sweet Tooth facebook page. Keep up the good work! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite Christmas traditions is driving through neighborhoods and checking out their lights. There are a few houses off Lawrence that do a great job decorating for the holidays and it's always great driving through and getting in the holiday spirit
